| Function | ORGANISATIONAL GOVERNANCE comprises two units, the Ministerial and Executive Governance Unit and the Freedom of Information and Legal Coordination Unit.
MINISTERIAL AND EXECUTIVE GOVERNANCE UNIT undertakes a range of functions on behalf of CSD to deliver commitments to Ministers, government and the public. The Unit is responsible for coordinating and delivering Ministerial, Assembly and Cabinet business; coordinating whole of organisation government and accountability reporting; supporting CSD Executive and line areas; supporting CSD’s portfolio Ministers, including through Directorate Liaison Officers (DLOs); providing secretariat for the CSD Performance and Finance Committee; and coordinating and producing the CSD Annual Report.
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI) AND LEGAL COORDINATION UNIT is responsible for processing freedom of information applications; coordinating requests for legal advice (excluding Children’s Court and Residential Tenancies Tribunal); and, providing advice on privacy and managing third party claims. The Unit is also responsible for implementing changes under the Freedom of Information Act 2016, including the Open Access Information Scheme (OAIS).
